High Holidays and Hillel Trips

Hello Columbia/Barnard Hillel community!

We wanted to be sure you were aware of all the great opportunities below, many of which involve sign-up beforehand.  Please take a look and email karen@hillel.columbia.edu with any questions!

1) High Holidays are almost here!
Rosh Hashana:  begins at sundown on Monday, September 29th.
Yom Kippur:  begins at sundown on Wednesday, October 8th.

Let us know what kind of services and holiday meals you are looking for, and we'll help you find them!  You can check out our website (www.hillel.columbia.edu) for more information on which services and meals are being offered here at Columbia/Barnard Hillel.  And for details on what’s available in the local community, come to the Kraft Center (606 W. 115th Street) between 9:00am-5:00pm and ask for more information.  

Want to join us for a FREE Rosh Hashana dinner on the evening of September 29th?  Or a pre-fast meal before Yom Kippur on October 8th?  See http://www.hillel.columbia.edu/template.php?name=hhmain for details and for sign up info.  **Sign up deadline for the FREE Rosh Hashana dinner is this Thursday at noon!

2) FREE TRIP TO ISRAEL! Register now - time is running out!
Do you want to go to Israel over winter break? With other Columbia/Barnard students? Want to see the sites, meet new people and experience a new Jewish community in Israel? For FREE???
