Before Thanksgiving break, we wanted to make sure you knew about a few important events taking place next week.  It's time to vote in a new group of student leaders at Hillel!  Check out election details below.  And gear up for a fun night next Thursday at the Hillel Date Auction - see you there!  Last but not least, Hanukkah is just around the corner, so see below for buying menorahs here at Hillel!

HILLEL ELECTIONS ARE ALMOST HERE!

Join us for the Hillel Candidate Forum this Monday night, November 26th at 7:00pm on the 5th floor of the Kraft Center (606 W. 115th Street).  This is when candidates for Hillel President, VP Initiatives and Social Va'ad present their platforms to the Hillel community. Free Dougie's!

Voting (all online) will begin that night right after the Candidate Forum and will close Wednesday night, November 28th at 9:00pm.  Those who are eligible to vote (if you are reading this email and you have a graduation date of 2008 or later) will receive an email with directions on how to place your vote.

Have you ever found yourself thinking: "I have loved you since you served me a hot dog at the Jello BBQ!" OR "You looked so attractive at the Ahmadinejad rally"?

Well then, come to the HILLEL Date Auction: where tzedakah might just lead to your next true love... Or you could just come out and support your friends for a good charity.

Coming up on November 29 at 8 PM in Rennert Hall in the Kraft Center

(606 W. 115th Street between Broadway and Riverside). All money raised at the auction goes to a Darfur Charity.

KRAFT CENTER BUILDING INFO FOR THANKSGIVING BREAK

The Kraft Center will be closed for the Thanksgiving break starting Wednesday, 3 pm, 11/21 through Monday, 7 am, 11/26. Gobble, Gobble!

HANUKKAH!

Hanukkah is coming! Yea!  Starting Monday, November 26th, menorahs and candles will be on sale at the Hillel Office (3rd floor of the Kraft Center) during business hours.  Menorah by itself is $1.50 and candles are $2.00.  A set (menorah plus candles) is only $3!
