Subject: Columbia/Barnard Hillel Passover Announcements
Date: 04/07/2009

Hey Everyone!

Passover is almost upon us. In addition to the Hillel community seder, this Sunday there will be a very cool Queer/Feminist seder at the Kraft Center. Additionally, below is some important Passover information for this upcoming week.  If you have any questions about Passover, visit www.hillel.columbia.edu/passover. The Kraft Center will be closed for certain days during the holiday. Any additional Passover questions should be sent to rabbi@columbia.edu.

Have a happy Passover!

Join us for this unique event as we say a special blessing and short service marking the sun's appearance at the same place it was at the time of creation according to the Talmud.  As part of the ceremony, CC First Year Jason Strauss will mark the siyum (completion) of the Talmud tractate Gittin.  A light breakfast will follow for all, especially those firstborns who would otherwise be traditionally required to fast that day.
