8) Toward a Greater Understanding: Transgender Identity & the Jewish Community

This is sure to be a lively and enlightening talk on this very important issue. Panel discussion followed by Q & A and light refreshments.
Panelists will be Professor Joy Ladin of Yeshivah University, a student involved in Gayava (Columbia/Barnard Hillel's LGBTQ Jews and Allies group), David Fryer, professor at Drexel University, and Melissa Simon, Cooperberg-Rittmaster Rabbinical Intern at Congregation Beth Simchat Torah.
Admission is free but space is limited. RSVP at 646-505-5708.
