1) TONIGHT:  Opening Reception! 

Columbia/Barnard Hillel Student Art Show: "All Actual Life is Encounter"

When: TONIGHT, Thursday, March 6, 6-8 pm

Where: The Kraft Center (606 west 115th St)

What: Viewing and Reception

 

Come to the gallery opening of the Spring 2008 Columbia/Barnard Hillel Student Art! 

Mingle, eat, and check out fantastic artwork by fellow students.

Free admission and food.

 

2) Havdahookies! (Havdalah, hookah, and cookies)
Celebrate Havdalah (the end of the Sabbath at sundown Saturday night) with guitar music, followed by hookah and delicious home-made cookies.

The Nana Nights series is excited to present a poetry + fiction reading brought to you by Avanim, the Jewish literary magazine of Columbia/Barnard. Come enjoy (free!) coffee/tea/desserts in the lovely atmosphere of Cafe Nana while listening to the literary stylings of your fellow students.

 

We are also looking for people to participate by reading either their own work (poetry or short fiction) or any published work they would like to share. If you are interested in reading, please email either Alexandra Polsky at afp2001@columbia.edu or Rachel Trager at rmt2108@columbia.edu.
