2) Melavah Malkah
Feb. 16th, 6:30 pm
We Jews love Shabbat so much, we don't want it to leave. That's why after Shabbat on February 16th, we are all coming together for a Melavah Malkah!
What's a Melavah Malkah, you ask? It's a chance for us to come together to sing, dance, tell stories, speak words of Torah and rejoice.
Featuring: Rabbi Danny Nevins leading a drum circle.
Where: The Kraft Center (115th between Broadway and Riverside), 5th floor
When: After Shabbat, Saturday February 16th, about 6:30pm
Why: Because we love Shabbat!
3) Friday Night Hangout
Hillel is hanging out all night in Cafe Nana. Stop by anytime between 8pm and midnight to have some cookies, tea, and learn how you can go to Israel this summer with Birthright!
4) Is Torah Recyclable? Guidelines for Geniza in the Modern World
This Friday Night at 9 PM, Rennert Hall
The Jewish people have always regarded our physical texts with the utmost respect. With modern printing methods from Gutenberg to Xerox, we are producing more Torah texts than ever before. Is there room for the traditional Jew to address growing ecological concerns while remaining authentic to the letter of Halakha? Please join Rabbi Dave and Tzedek Hillel for an in depth study of the issues from a traditional Halakhic perspective.
5) Study Break
Make Your Own Hamentashen!
As always, every Tuesday come eat yummy food at 10pm on the 3rd floor of the Kraft Center (115th St between Broadway and Riverside, across from Schapiro).
6) Final Call for Submissions to the Hillel Art Show 2008!

Mark your calendars for the show's OPENING: FREE RECEPTION AND VIEWING. MARCH 6 from 6-8pm at the Kraft Center.
7) Bone Marrow Drive TUESDAY at Hillel
Save a life! Come take a few minutes out of your day for bone marrow testing. It requires a simple, painless, and quick procedure, and you'll be in and out in minutes!
This Tuesday, February 19, from 12-6pm in Rennert Lobby (basement) of the Kraft Center (606 W. 115th Street between Broadway and Riverside, across from Shapiro).
Looking forward to seeing you there!
8) Come Celebrate Purim Katan with a HILLEL-WIDE CARNIVAL

Where: Room C555 Lerner Hall
Who: Raw Elementz and a band featuring Daniel Freedman and Daniel Bendavid.
What: Food, games, prizes, and raffle with all proceeds going to the Met Council on Jewish Poverty.
What is Purim Katan? Funny you should ask. Purim Katan occurs only during Jewish leap years and it falls out one month before regular Purim. It is known as little Purim for that reason.
