Subject: Sukkot, birthright israel, and more!
Date: 09/26/2007
Hello everyone!
We want to say a huge congrats and thank you to all who were involved in the response to President Ahmadinejad's visit to campus. We're incredibly proud of those of you who took key leadership roles both within the Jewish community and the wider campus community.
And on a different note, we wish you a very festive Sukkot holiday! Feel free to stop by our sukkah on the 3rd floor terrace of the Kraft Center this week and next!

Sukkot
The Kraft Center and its sukkah (3rd floor) are open for your holiday pleasure! The building is open for its usual hours (Monday-Friday 8:00am-midnight, Saturday 8:30am-9:30pm, Sunday 8:30am-midnight). The sukkah is open until 10:45pm every night except Saturday/Motzei Shabbat when it is open until 9:00pm. Please be sensitive to the fact that our sukkah faces living rooms and bedrooms of our neighbors on 114th Street, so please keep the noise down to a dull roar!
THE KRAFT CENTER SUKKAH IS CLOSED TONIGHT FOR A HILLEL PROGRAM! While we welcome all members of the community to use our sukkah, the only exception is tonight, Wednesday, September 26th from 7:00pm to 10:45pm, when we have a full Sukkah for those who signed up for tonight's meal.
Services:
- Koach will hold Sukkot services as well as regular Shabbat services (Wednesday 6:30pm, Thursday 10:00am and 6:30pm, Friday 10:00am and 6:35pm, Saturday 10:00am and 5:55pm).
- Kesher will hold regular Shabbat services (Friday 6:15pm).
Yom Tov Meals:
First night meals (tonight) are full and CLOSED unless you have signed up. For all remaining yom tov meals, the Barnard sukkah has a few spots left. CU/BC/JTS students should feel free to drop by if you have not signed up, but please be respectful of those who signed up on time, and please make sure they have a chance to eat before you take food. If you need a yom tov meal, please contact Rabbi Dave.
Chol haMoed Meals:
Barnard Kosher Dining in Hewitt Hall is open for regular dining hours. Take-out trays will be available to bring up to the sukkah. Specific meal times can be found on the Barnard Dining website here.
